The William (Bill) Hooke Fellowship for Policy and Leadership is a competitive award for scientists and professionals who possess exceptional aptitude for and commitment to advancing public interest. Selection of Hooke Fellows is based on a combination of past accomplishments and future potential. 

Recipients of this fellowship attend the AMS Science Policy Colloquium in the year of their selection. The standard costs of attending the Colloquium, including tuition and travel support, are covered as part of the award.

The Hooke Fellowship is an AMS Policy Program award.
