Travel grants will be awarded to students who are not presenting a paper at a conference. Presenters are not eligible to apply.

The grant program is available to AMS student members and member graduate students (those who are in their last undergraduate year or who are current graduate students). Member status will be confirmed.

Applicants should specify one conference of interest on the application for combined conferences.

Conferences listed below are assigned a specific deadline. Applications will not be considered after the deadline date indicated.

• 36th Conference on Hurricanes and Tropical Meteorology - deadline has passed
• 51st Conference on Broadcast Meteorology/Seventh Conference on Weather Warnings and Communication - deadline has passed
• 24th Conference on Atmospheric and Oceanic Fluid Dynamics & 22nd Conference on Middle Atmosphere - deadline date is April 26, 2024
• 21st Conference on Mountain Meteorology -  deadline date is May 24, 2024
• 31st Conference on Severe Local Storms - deadline date is August 23, 2024
