We will select a limited number of graduate students for financial support for participation in the AMS Science Policy Colloquium. This national competition has historically been made possible by a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). Faculty from HBCUs and MSIs may also apply for this funding. Those interested in applying for support must submit an application by April 1, 2024. Decisions will be announced by mid-April.
To be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled in a U.S. institution or university and members of the American Meteorological Society. Student membership is sufficient for this requirement. Applicants for funding may also be in the process of applying for AMS membership at the time they submit their Colloquium applications.
