Description

The AMS Fellowship Program is a source of unique opportunities for outstanding students looking to pursue graduate education in the atmospheric or related sciences. To date, 375 students have been designated as AMS fellowship recipients. The program helps first-year graduate students to be educated about unique challenges facing the world so that they may better tackle real-world issues after graduation. Fellowships come with several benefits that include financial support, the opportunity to be special guests at the AMS Annual Meeting with exclusive events therein, and ongoing academic and career support from AMS. 

Disclosures: AMS does not prepare written evaluations of either successful or unsuccessful candidates. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or hold permanent resident status.

What you should Know:

  • Encrypted or secured documents must be converted and saved as an unsecured version in order to upload. Otherwise, upload an unofficial copy and submit the official document to dfernandez@ametsoc.org.

  • Please enter N/A in a section that does not apply.

  • For assistance with an application task technical problem, go to "Contact Support" (i) found in the help section in the upper right hand corner of your screen and enter the required information.
