Description

The AMS Fellowship Program is a source of unique opportunities for outstanding students looking to pursue graduate education in the atmospheric and related oceanic or hydrologic sciences. The program helps these first-year graduate students to be educated about unique challenges facing the world so that they may better tackle real-world issues after graduation. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or hold permanent resident status.

Disclosure: AMS does not prepare written evaluations of either successful or unsuccessful candidates. 

What you should Know:

  • Encrypted or secured documents must be converted and saved as an unsecured version in order to upload. 

  • All official transcripts will show as a copy when uploaded.  Have the official transcript sent to galegado@ametsoc.org for validation.

  • Please enter N/A in a section that does not apply.

  • For assistance with a technical problem, go to the Home Page or Log in to your Account.  

    • Click on the Information (i) Icon in the top right corner 
    • Click to Fill in a Support Request Form and follow instructions

Applicants are responsible for completing their application before the submission deadline.  Incomplete applications can not be submitted or considered.
