Description

THE 101st AMS ANNUAL MEETING GOES VIRTUAL for 2021

Theme: Strengthening Engagement with Communities Through our Science and Service

Do you have what it takes to be a student assistant During COVID-19 challenges?

We are looking for dependable undergraduate AMS student members who will work directly with AMS staff to moderate virtual sessions and events for attendees.  During these unprecedented times, we are all re-designing the way we do things and looking to innovative ways of offering the services AMS has been so proud of being able to provide pre-COVID. Interested students should complete and submit an application if you are an AMS student member and meet the requirements.

Although the opportunity to be a student assistant is fun and educationally rewarding, it is also a demanding job and AMS takes this program very seriously!  Students assisting staff must be capable of working well with others, be depended upon, and are able and willing to take direction from AMS staff members.  Student Assistants will receive complimentary registration and a small per diem

The Student Assistant Program is open to sophomore, junior and senior undergraduate students who are 2020 active AMS student members or members with student privileges

Important notice: Be sure to "SUBMIT" your application after reviewing and and answering all questions in order to advance your application to the Manager Review stage for consideration.

Deadline date: November 6, 2020
